Tim Scully dba World Class Jazz Productions- WCJP is a small but growing multi-functional, service provider in the regional live entertainment industry. With a clearly established vision and a reputation for excellence,WCJP applies a host of creative, practical and technical skills and abilities,resulting in high level entertainment offerings while keeping individual sponsorship costs on a manageable scale Emphasizing the origin, development and heritage of this vital and original American art form, the mission is to feature jazz, blues and r&b artists. In 2008 WCJP found itself responsible for over 155 successful programs. Nine weekly shows were scheduled from ten to twelve straight weeks in five different counties, including Baldwins 17th annual "Sounds from the Forest" music series. Here is where it all started in 1992, when Scully co-founded these pilot programs with Shirley Wenger and Norma Russell. Having built a network of human resource contacts that include over 100 acts, several arts councils, visitors bureaus, chambers of commerce, many private presenters, several media partners, hundreds of financial supporters and countless satisfied patrons, WCJP strives to maintain, improve and expand its activities and to become a profitable business, while still maintaining a perception and feeling of being of service to its community.
